House of Frames

Situated on a compact plot in suburban Bangkok, this four-story single-family residence maximizes vertical living to accommodate a diverse program of work, play, and rest. The architectural language is defined by a clean interplay of white interlocking volumes and textured brick elements, which function as privacy screens while adding warmth to the façade.

The design strategy utilizes outdoor terraces as green buffers, where lush tropical planting mediates the intense daylight and filters the urban surroundings. Inside, the house unfolds as a series of distinct narratives stacked vertically. Grounded by a professional home office on the street level, the journey ascends through dynamic spaces designed for social gatherings and family entertainment, finally retreating into secluded, quiet sanctuaries on the upper floors. This project exemplifies modern tropical living, balancing openness with privacy within a dense urban context.
